This field record asks whether Meta Advantage+ Creative ads show higher link click-through rates (CTR) or lower delivery costs (CPM) than ads without Advantage+ Creative enhancements—i.e., whether they receive favorable click or auction-price treatment. The short name used in the repository directory is the Advantage+ Creative CTR and CPM study.
Sample
The asset set is dataset EMR-2026-07D: 4,952 Meta ads with measurable spend in June 2026 (2,927 Advantage+ Creative; 2,025 non-Advantage+), drawn from the same random sample of advertiser accounts that each spent at least $100,000 that month as EMR-2026-07B. Clients sampled of various industries. Creative media files were not downloaded; classification uses creative metadata only.
Contrast
An ad is classified as Advantage+ Creative when its creative degrees_of_freedom_spec.creative_features_spec contains any feature with enroll_status = OPT_IN (including advantage_plus_creative and standard_enhancements), or when asset_feed_spec.optimization_type = DEGREES_OF_FREEDOM. Otherwise it is non-Advantage+. Outcomes are impression-weighted link CTR (inline link clicks ÷ impressions) and spend-weighted CPM (spend ÷ impressions × 1,000). Indexed to non-Advantage+ at 100.
Findings
Advantage+ Creative ads in this window earn a higher link CTR (+21%). They do not clear the auction at a lower CPM; delivery cost is substantially higher (+45%). The record therefore supports a CTR advantage for Advantage+ Creative in this observational contrast, and does not support the claim of favorable (lower) CPM treatment.
Advantage+ Creative wins the click but pays more for the impression

Note: Implied cost per click is CPM ÷ (CTR × 1,000): $1.80 for Advantage+ Creative vs. $1.51 without. Blue marks an advantage for the advertiser; red marks a higher cost.
